Kyle Sears is a native Houstonian.  He grew up in Baytown, Texas and is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University.  He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Debra, for over 35 years and is the father of two daughters, Rebecca and Hannah.

Along with his legal practice, Kyle has enjoyed serving on the City Council for the City of Spring Valley for five years.  In his capacity as councilman, he used his business acumen and legal skills to lead the negotiations on behalf of the City with the Texas Department of Transportation for the successful resolution of issues involved in the expansion of Interstate 10 as well as actively participating in developing ordinances concerning the commercial property on the Interstate 10 frontage road.

Kyle has served on several boards, including Sports Quest Inc., a non-profit Christian soccer training company, AVDA  (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse) an organization devoted to providing legal services to victims of domestic abuse, the Harris County Improvement District No. 12 and the Harris Galveston Subsidence District.

At Second Baptist Church, Houston, Kyle chaired numerous committees for the Church and for Second Baptist School, including the annual fund raising event for the School.

He is a gifted Bible teacher, enjoys traveling, skiing, refinishing furniture, Aggie sports and spending time with family and friends.
